As we advanced on our regenerative journey, we have realized how far we are from the Pinnacle of healthy grasslands. We moved from being cattle ranchers to become grassfarmers, then found out that grasses even being a keystone community in our context, are part of a community of plants, including forbs (flowering herbs).   Now we understand that our native grasslands shall be full not only of hundreds of perennial grass species, but also of coloring flowers in Spring. What is then required to produce milk and honey as described in the promised land? Plants full of energy and flowers.

Flowering herbs (Forbs) is the answer from Nature to feed cows and bees to produce milk and honey. Forbs show up when we establish a good stand of perennial grasses and fix the water cycle.
